Junior Program

Junior Girls Scholarship 2025

Mandurah Country Club are now seeking applicants for the 2025 Australian Golf Foundation Junior Girls Scholarship.

Following our successful 2022, 2023 & 2024 program – we are now seeking expression of interest for our 2025 intake of the Australian Golf Foundation Junior Girls Scholarship.

Mandurah Country Club has obtained funding from The Australian Golf Foundation (AGF) to support six lucky teenage girls to pursue their golf.

Scholarships are open to girls aged 9 to 16 and while the program’s primary aim is to retain girls in golf by giving girls a shared golf experience, girls new to golf may also be engaged in this program should they demonstrate a commitment to learning the sport.

The Scholarship program is part of a national campaign to get more girls playing golf. All we ask is that applicants display a desire and willingness to improve their golf skills, obtain a handicap, play in club competitions (or at least social play) and engage in any extra-curricular activity that fosters friendships between scholarship holders.

Not only will girls receive 24 coaching sessions with Craig Tapp Peel Golf Academy, but also a one year junior club membership, which helps to ensure girls obtain a handicap. A maximum of 6 scholarships are available for the start of Term 1 – 2025.

For further information and to apply, please contact Mandurah Country Club or Junior Co-ordinator Vanessa Day 0415 984 868 or awday77@hotmail.com.

Crunch and Sip – Sunday 9 June 2024

Was held on Sunday 9 June 2024 at the Mandurah Country Club.  We have had great feedback from Golf WA on day, see below comments made for the day:-

“We had 65 sub juniors that turned up and played in the very windy and cold event and 87 initial bookings, This is the biggest interest of a Junior Tour event at Mandurah we have ever had, I believe this proves how popular Mandurah Country Club is, I loved hearing the comments from parents and players when seeing the Club for the first time, “wow this is really nice” and “I didn’t know this was here, we should come back” are just a few of the comments that I heard, The course was very well presented and even with the testing weather, the course always holds up so well,  Your superintendent and the grounds crew I am sure are very proud of the course they maintain and care for”

Please find attached the results from the weekend and well done to all the players.
