Dear Members,
The Balcony Extension Project will start on Monday 19 February 2024, with completion during the winter months.
There will be disruption for this period, including the following operational requirements:
- Entry to the Golf Shop will be through the Entry Foyer for approximately the first six weeks, until the balcony slab is cured.
- There will be limited space in front of the Golf Shop as half of this area will be fenced off. Members using private carts, or members retrieving hire cart from the Cart Sheds, must park carts behind the 9th green or in the space under the overhang at the front entry. The only carts to be parked in front of the Golf Shop are Club Hire Carts that employees need to have a visual to monitor.
- On busier competition days, please keep push buggies to these same areas, or at the outer areas such as the old first tee box.
- There will be periods of time when the full pathway access adjacent to the putting green will be closed and likewise access to the 1st tee will not be available along the front of the Golf Shop. During these times, access will be on the grass behind the 9th or 18th greens. We will communicate this to members before this occurs.
Space will be extremely tight, with congestion becoming an issue if players aren’t thoughtful or considerate in regard to where they stop and where they leave equipment.
Any room in front of the Golf Shop should be for congestion of people only, not golfing equipment.
