After Round 22 and Final Round for the Season.
Sooooooo, in terms of our tipping, it seems we have saved our best to the last couple of rounds with two punters managing to snag 9 correct tips. Well done to Rowley and Kevin who both managed that feat, it was of course Rowley who with a closer margin on Friday night has grabbed the last of our $20 prizes, well done mate, Shareen has the money all bundled up for you! No fewer than 12 of us, yours truly included (yeh I can give myself a pat on the back!!) managed to secure 8 correct tips with a further 14 of us correctly tipping 7 (including an a’for mentioned Pies supporter (that may take some living down!! 😊). 6 of us managed 6 winners a further 3 landed 5 and one punter finished the season strongly with a very solid 2.
Well, it is fair to say, that our tipping, like this round, came right down to the wire with three punters battling it out for top honors which was awesome. With as little fanfare as possible it is my pleasure to announce Greg Munday as the winner of our comp, who with a very soiled (oops sorry typo!) solid 8 tips retained his position at number 1 a position he has held since round 7, no mean feat indeed, CONGRATULATIONS AND WELL DONE MATE!!!! 149 correct tips is an awesome effort. Kevin Davies with a screaming rush to the finish line and nabbing 9 along the way has finished in second spot with 148, Mate one of the most consistent punters at the club what a tremendous effort WELL DONE!!! Coming in third after challenging Greg so often in recent weeks, Brett Curtis!! Good Ol Collingwood forever 😊 😊 mate 147 yet another terrific effort and WELL DONE!!! And with that final fixture, the numbers where cast and good Lord, there where no fewer than 8 folks, yes 8!! That nabbed all 9, it took us a while, but when we got there, we got there in style. This did of course mean that the prize pool came down to margins and with a merest margin of just one there where two punters who accurately chose the margin!, It turned out to be a battle of the Chris’s as the ol Silver fox, Chris Mumme and staunch Adelaide fan Chris Morgan both had the margin. Sadly for the fox, he fell short of the 9 leaving Morgo, last man standing and now $140 richer, Well Done Morgo!!! Go and see Shaz mate, she will sort you out. There was of course a little gift of $50 up for grabs as well and with an accurate choice of team and margin, Grant Griffiths took that prize, well done Griffo!!! Likewise mate, see Shaz and she will load your wallet for you! As mentioned, there were 8 of us picked 9 so well done to all indeed, the vast majority of us, 21 in fact managed 8 correct tips, while a further 4 of us got 7 right, 3 of us 6, but there was a 4 and even a 3 in the mix so here something for you from Mr Tipless. And so to our leader board and Greg has managed to keep his tenuous grip on top spot, his 8 tips moving him onto 141 with Brett C hot on his heels, 140. Right there and still a chance at the top spot, Kevin sits on 139 while 2 further adrift and needed to make a big move is Kelvin on 137. Brett is still a chance with 136 as is Colin on 135. The Ol silver fox has just a sniff on 134 that he shares with Gavin C. Baz and Griff are both on 133, John on 132, Ricks 9 sees him move up to 131 with Roger, Daveeeyyy and Rowley all on 130. Shaz has 129 all to herself with Eric, Lynne, Hayden and Morgo all on 128, and that folks is our top 20.

Suffice to say once again, but we have jackpotted with no one able to snag 9 winners. There were a couple of 7’s there but, 2 of us in fact so well done to Kel and Brett! It didn’t get any easier with only 5 of us getting 6 right, while the vast majority of us, 15 in fact managed to pick 5 winners. 4 was certainly quite popular with 13 of us landing that score, there were a couple of 3’s in there however and in his infinite wisdom, Mr Tipless has this for us!
So to our leader board and oh my goodness, its getting tight at the top! Greg still maintains the ascendancy on 133, but his lead has been eroded to just one. The chase pack led by Brett C on 132 and both Kevin and Kelvin on 130 are closing fast. Still in the hunt Brett A has 128 to his credit, with Colin on 127 and the ol Silver Fox who has slipped in recent weeks hanging in there with Gavin on 126. Baz has made his way quietly through the field and now sits on 125, while John B and Griff have a share of 124. There is a bit of a group on 122 including Rick, Roger, Daveeyyyy and Rowley with Shaz and Hayden both on 121. Dave s is next up on 120 with our top 20 rounded out by Eric, Lynne, Tobes and Morgo all with a share of 119.
Now Folks it is a derby round so $100 is on offer for punter who tips the winner and nearest the margin in this match. Add to this the $140 now up for grabs, now is a good time to snag 9!!

And so, to our comp, and there were 3 very solid 8 tips this week, one our leader in fact, well done to Greg, Kevin and Marc!!. 15 punters managed to snag 7 winners, not a bad effort at all while a further 14 of us correctly picked 6. There were of course a couple of 5’s in there, 3 in fact while 2 of us managed just 4. There was however a new record set in lousy tipping with Aaron successfully notching up 1!! Wot Thu!!! Mate, not sure Mr Tipless can help, but here goes.
With 8 correct tips, Greg has reasserted himself on top of the leader board now sitting 2 clear on 129. Hot on his heels is Brett C on 127 with Kevin one further back on 126. As the field now starts to spread, Kelvin and Colin have a share of 123, while that Ol Silver Fox, Chris has found the latter stages hard going and now shares 122 with Gavin C. Brett A is next on 121 while Baz and John B round the top 10 with 120 correct tips. On 118 are Roger and Griff and there are a bunch of us including Rick, Dave K, Rowley, Hayden and Dave S all on 116. Shaz and Harry both have 115 while there is a small group of Eric, Lynne, Tobes, Ted and Morgo all on 114.

If not for a Bullies victory, we would have had many a 9 this week, alas, t’was not to be so once again we jackpot. There were however plenty of tippers who found 8 to be satisfactory, 16 of us in fact which was most impressive! 15 of us also managed 7 which whilst not quite as good as 8, wasn’t bad I suppose 😊there were of course a few 6’s in there and even a few 5’s to which Mr Tipless has thought about and has this liddle tit bit for ya…
So with that all said, Greg still holds onto the lead in our tipping comp with 121 although his lead has been eroded to one with Brett C coming hard as we turn into the final straight and has 120 tips to his credit. He is closely followed by Kevin on 118 with Colin alongside him on 117. One further back on 116 you will find the Ol Silver Fox who looks to be fatiguing in the late stages and shares this total with Gav and Kelvin who are not done with yet. In clear space on his own with 114 is Brett A however Baz and John both on 113 are closing fast. Roger is still in the chase with 112 but will need a strong finish while Rick, Aaron L and Grant still have a sniff at a podium with 111. From there its looking a little grim with Hayden and Dave S both on 110 while Daveyyyyy shares 109 with Rowley. Shaz, Lynne, Ted, Chris and Harry are all on 108 with Eric, Bill and Tobes on 107. Mick C has 106 all to himself while Rob way back there on 105 looks to be a memory of lost chances!! 😊On 104 you will find Alan and Des, Woolly has 103 to himself, Brett M 101, Ben and Greenie have finally just hit the ton, Marc is on 99, Sam 98, Hey Shorty how are the shoulders mate, phew 97!!, while Col on 92 continues to display fine qualities of tipping prowess or lack there of!! 😊

Of course with so many upsets, it comes as little surprise that our weekly prize has jackpotted, however Colin, who has propped up the ladder pretty much all season grabbed 8!! Well done indeed I say. 7 was certainly a popular result for punters with 9 of us securing that score, a very good result, while the vast majority of us, 16 in fact have had to settle for 6 correct tips. 9 punters correctly managed 5 winners with at least on 4 in there and maybe just a couple of 3’s Alright Curls and Sam, Mr Tipless , has thought long and hard to come up with from sound advice, not sure it will help but here goes!
And so to our leader board, with his lead significantly reduced Greg has come back to the field, although his 113 still has him out front by 1 from Brett C on 112 and Kevin now on 110. That ol Silver fox has slipped a bit this week, now on 109 alongside of Colin E, with Gavin and Kelvin hot on their heels with 108. Baz has made a nice little move up the leaderboard and now shares 106 with Brett A, Roger and John are one further adrift with 105 and Rick, Aaron L, Grant and Dave all share 104. Hayden and Harry are still a chance with 103, while Dave, Rowley and Morgo might still fancy their chances with 101 correct tips. Making it onto the centurians list are Shaz, Lyn, Eric, Tobes and this knuckle head, with Bill and Mick one further back looking like Bradman on 99. Rob is one back again on 98, with Alan D on 97, Mick and Des are on 96, Marc has 94, Ben, Brett M and Greenie have 93, Sam and Shorty are both on 92 with Col despite a resounding 8 still holding up the tail on 86.

With all that turmoil, picking 9 has again eluded us, and 7 was the best we could come up with, 8 punters managing that feat. Many of us decided 6 was satisfactory, 11 in fact whilst a further 15 tippers settled for 5 winners. There where a couple of 4 and well, there was just one punter who’s tipping prowess came to the fore with a noteworthy 3! With sides aching just a bit, Mr Tipless has some sage words for you mate . And so to our leader board, and whilst its getting tight at the top, Greg still holds sway with a 2 point advantage on 107. He is being chased by now by Brett C who’s 7 sees him into 2nd on 105 while that ol Silver fox Chris has slid this week into 3rd on 104. Kevin and Colin have a share of 103, while Gavin and Kelvin are in the hunt with 102. Brett A has hit the ton, bang on 100, closely followed by Baz and Dave on 99. The peloton is closing up with Roger, John, Rick, Aaron, Haydn, Grant and Harry all on 98, Eric the next of the chasing pack on 97. Dave K and yours truly round out the top 20 on 95 along with Rowly and Morgo, Lyn and Bill not to be outdone, 94. Shaz, Rob and Tobes are all on 93 while right there, Mick has 92, Mike has 90 along with Al and Des. One further back on 89 are Ben and Sam, While Marc, Brett and Greenie all have a share of 88. With broad shoulders, Grant and Col are holding up the ladder on 86 and 78 respectively.

And so to our comp, and the early upsets ensured that 9 tips was going to elude us yet again so this week will see a jackpot, 7 the best any of us could muster, with 10 of us managing that feat. The vast majority of us found 6 to be acceptable, 20 in fact, however there were a few 5’s and 4’s in there as well. With that said, our Leader board looks a little like this. Still out on top sits Greg who has reached the century mark at 101, his lead however has been eroded to 2, that ol silver fox Chris showing that even a dodgy knee won’t slow him down, hot on Greg’s heels with 99. Right behind him sit Kevin and Brett C on 98, while on 96 we find Gavin, Colin and Kelvin. One further back on 95 Brett A is still in the hunt, while Baz on 94 will still fancy his chances. Rick and Griff both share 93 while Roger, Eric, Aaron L, Harry and Dave all have 92 tips to their credit. John and Hayden both have 91 with Daveeyyy, Rowley and Bill rounding out our top 20 (well 21 actually) on 90.

Well, that was round 15, and it must be said, it was I reckon our most solid tipping week of the season with no fewer than 11 of us correctly tipping 8 winners. Not bad, but not good enough, as there was one, just one who managed to snare all 9 winners! take a bow Daveyyyyyyy!! (despite not tipping his own team!!) Well done mate, not only have you just earned yourself $40 (yes mate, you can have your money back, well almost all of it!) but you also have the distinction of being our first punter to grab all 9! Well done indeed Dave! There were quite a few 7’s in there, 8 in fact with 14 of us correctly tipping 6. There were just a couple of us who found the going still a bit tough and managed just 5, so to Brett, Ben, Sam and Hayden, Mr Tipless is here to help. So, to our leader board and not only has Greg maintained his grip on top spot, he has also maintained his lead, sitting 3 clear on 95. There he is, that ol silver fox, Chris in outright 2nd on 82, but breathing down his neck on 81 are Kevin and Brett C. One spot further back on 80 we find Gavin and Kelvin while Colin is right there on 89. Brett A and Harry share a total of 88 with a cluster of 5 including Baz, Roger, Rick, Aaron and Griff next in line on 87. Eric and Dave hold 15th and 16th spots respectively with a total of 86, with John and Hayden right behind em on 85. Compliments of his 9 Davey snuck into the top 20 now sitting 19th on 84 alongside of Rowley who rounds out our top 20.

We found it far to difficult to muster up two weeks in a row of top tipping, so once again, the weekly prize will jackpot with $40 now the purse for round 15. Having said that, two of us, a mostly unlikely combination snared 5! What a great result and well done Col and Benno! 4 was about the mark with 10 of us scoring there, while a further 17 of us could muster 3 winners. There were a number of 2’s in there, 8 in fact, while we even had one punter manage but 1, Mr Tipless is not sure what to make of it all, but has this for ya Brett!
So with round 14 out of the way, and past the half way point of the season reached, this is what our leader board looks like, (just for you Curls)
Out in front and with a handy 3 point buffer sits Greg on 87, sharing the next 3 spots on 84 is, you guessed it, the Silver fox Chris, Kevin and Gav, the two Bretts and Kel are all next on 83. Colin and Harry are both on 82, Roger and Rick are both right there on 81 while one further back on 80 are Eric, Aaron L, Haydn and Griff. 16,17 and 18th places are held by Baz, John and Dave S all on 80 tips, Rowley is next on 78and Morgo sneaks into the top 20 on 76. Beyond that we have Dave, Ben, Bill and Tobes all on 75 with Lyn and I hanging around on 74. One further back on 73 you will find Shareen, Mick C, Rob, Alan and Sam, one further back again on 72 are Marc, Des, Greenie and Grant. Wooly is next up with 71 tips with Brett M chasing him on 70. Holding up the ladder as he has done most of the season, is Col who on 62 is no doubt looking at next years draft!!

Now to our comp and yes peeps, it has finally happened!! Yeh yeh!, I can hear the pundits now, a 6 game round bah humbug, but folks thems the rules and guess what, only 6 of us got it right! 6 punters tipped 6 correctly but there can be only one! And with a margin of just 4, Gavin Coles, take a bow Sir!!! Well done mate you are now $260 richer!! Shareen has the purse for you mate, so duck in and see her for some well earned spondool. It would be remiss of me not to mention Mick C, Harry, Brett A, Bill and of course yours truly who also picked 6 correctly, well done to us all I say!. Of course, 5 was extremely popular among the rest, 26 of us infact tipped correctly save for one. There were a couple of 4’s in there, I wont mention names, but Mr Tipless’s sides were aching just a little bit!! Of course there was just one of us who managed one less with 3, Mr Tipless is a little lost on this one but has found some wise advice for ya Col. So with Round 13 out of the way our leader board looks a little like this. Greg still holds sway on 83 with Chris, that ol’ silver fox right there on 81 alongside Brett C. Kevin, Kel and Gav are hot on their heals on 80 while Brett and Colin both on 79 hold the next 2 spots. Roger, Hayden and now Harry compliments of his 6, are next in line on 78 with Rick, Aaron L and Grant one adrift on 77. Baz and Eric are still in the hunt with 76, while John, Rowley and Dave all on 75 all but round out the top 20. There are a few of us on 72 and a few more on 71, but as we move into the second half of the season it is getting tougher to get among the top runners.

With 5 being a best tally, this creditable effort went to seven punters, Griff, Brett A, Bill, Chris (that ol silver fox) Brett C, Gav and Hayden, well done lads. After a scintillating start to the round Tobes has to settle for 4 along with 22 more of us, while there were a couple of us who managed just 3 and yes, there were even a couple of two’s among us as well. Fortunately, Mr Tipless has been researching and has some sage words for you. There has been a legal threat challenged against Mr Tipless by what must be said is an unscrupulous punter, so Mr Tipless has brought in his legal team to aid this week, just in case!! And so, to our leaderboard. Despite being slightly off his game, Greg has maintained to two point advantage and holds sway on top with 78, but wait, the wily Silver Fox Chris has snuck into the hen house and now sits in second on 76 alongside of Brett C and Kelvin. One further back we find Kevin on 75, with Gavin and Colin both 1 further adrift on 74 with 4 of us sharing 73 including Roger, Brett A, Hayden and Griff. Rick, Aaron L and Harry are still well placed to make a charge with 72 as are Baz and Eric on 71. John, Rowley and Dave are hanging in there with 70 and rounding out our top 20 is Morgo on 68. For the rest of us, we may need to take a few chances if we are going to get amongst it, but in this season anything is possible.

Now you have probably surmised that yes, 9 has avoided us yet again, however, hats off to Kelvin and Brett C who both managed 8! Well done lads, bet you are loving Freo right now There were 12 punters who managed 7 correct tips which one must say ain’t too bad, whilst the vast majority of us, 20 in fact, managed to pick 6 winners. There were of course a couple of us who managed just 5, oh dear, so Mr Tipless in his infinite wisdom has come to party with some help for ya, one in particular who happened to be celebrating a 50th at the time, so please forgive Mr Tipless for taking a special interest in this one . And so to our leader board where Greg’s lead has been eroded by one and is still 2 clear on top with 74, Kelvin’s 8 see’s him racing into outright second place on 72, Kevin, Chris, the silver fox, and Brett C all share 3rd on 71 while Colin is one further back on 70. Roger and Gavin are not going away, sharing 69 while on 68 there are 6 of us including Rick, Aaron L, Brett A, Haydn, Grant and Harry. As the field starts to spread, Eric and Baz share 67 tips while John, Rowley and Dave all have 66 to their credit. Rounding out our top 20 is Morgo on 64 and from there on its starting to look a little grim!

It was not all bad news for us as the vast majority of us did manage 7 correct winners, 19 in fact. 16 of us correctly chose 6 winners while there were 3 of us managed 5 so in his infinite wisdom, Mr Tipless has this for ya, Col, Morgo and Sam . So, despite the weekend, our leader, Greg, has extended his lead on our comp and now sits a very handy 3 clear on 67, hope its not too comfy their Greggy! With 64 Kevin, that ol Silver fox Chris (where did you sneak in from) Kelvin and Col E share second while 1 further back on 63 sit Brett and Gavin. There are 5 of us nicely perched on 62 including Roger, Rick, Brett A, Aaron L and Harry, while Rowley, Haydn and Grant are hanging around on 61. Baz, John and Eric with 60 are next in line and pretty much make up our top 20 that is completed by Lyn who sneaks in on 57 sharing that with Rob, Ben, Tobes and Morgo. Beyond that, its starting to look a little grim, but in this season…who knows!

Once again 9 correct tips has proven elusive to say the least, so for the 9th week in a row, we have jackpotted again! 8 correct tips was however a terrific result, I can say that cause I got it !! And I was joined by Dave S, Col E and Tobes, well done us!!! 7 was a very popular number with no fewer than 17 of us landing that number, great effort I say. 13 punters nabbed 6 correct winners, while our remaining punters all managed 5, 4 of us in fact including a certain GM, Harry, Sam and Aaron L, oh well boys, Mr Tipless has offered some sage advice for you!
After some wise words from Mr Tipless, our leader board looks a bit like this. Despite Greg’s lack of tipping prowess this weekend, he has actually increased his hold on the comp and now sits 2 clear on with 60!, well done mate . Kevin now owns second spot on 58, with the Silver fox Chris, Kelvin and Col E together on 57. Rick has snuck quietly through the field and now sits in 6th spot on 56 alongside of Brett C, Gavin and Harry. Roger, Aaron L and Brett A are right there with them on 55 while a group of us including John, Rowley, Eric, Hayden, Dave S and Grant are one further back on 54. Baz is hanging in there on 53 and rounding out our top 20, Morgo grabs it with 52 correct tips.

As mentioned, that little ol’ 9 is bloody hard to pick, however 2 of us managed 8 which was a great effort and well done to Greenie and Benno! Just one more boys woulda got the job done! As we head to round 9 our jackpot is now $180 mmm mmmm indeed!! There were 10 of us managed 7 correct tips which is not half bad I reckon and a further 19 of us landed 6, there were 7 of us managed 5 which in fact was our lowest total over the weekend so for you lucky punters, Mr Tipless has this for you. With that said, Greg has maintained his position atop the leader board, his 7 seeing him onto 53, while hot on his heels with 52 is Kevin. Harry is quietly working his way through and now has 51 holding 3rd spot while on 50 sit Aaron L, Brett C, the Silver fox, Chris and Kelvin. Rick, you old Devil, Brett A, Gavin and Colin E are all one further back on 49 with Rowley, Roger and Hayden still chasing the summit on 48. John, Eric and Grant, all on 47 nearly round out our top 20 which is completed with Baz, Sam and Dave all on 46.

Needless to say, with such obvious outcomes, our jackpot has jackpotted again, 9 a most difficult number to score, just ask me!! 7 however was the best we could muster and several of us managed that feat, Brett M, Hayden, Colin, Ben, Greg, Kelvin and Grant all bagging that score, well done chaps. 6 was most popular with the vast majority of us, 17 in fact, polling that amount, there were quite a few 5’s, 11 in all before 3 of us could only find enough ink for 4 green ticks. Well, well, Shaz, Col and Marc, Mr Tipless has some sound advice for you!
So, our leader board looks a little like this. There is a new leader!, Out on top is Greg, who’s 7 sees him 1 clear on 46, closely followed by Brett C and Kevin both on 45. Nicely placed one tip further back on 43 is the silver fox, Chris Mumme along with Harry, with the field bunched on 43 including Roger, Rick, Brett A, Aaron l, Kelvin and Gavin. One tip further back and right in the hunt on 42 are Hayden and Colin, while hanging in there but feeling the heat on 41 are Rowley, John, Eric, Dave and Grant. Baz and Sam both on 40 round out our top 20, but there is still time for those back markers to make a move.

So, if not for a 1 point victory to the Crows, our 9 would have gone off in resounding fashion, however it is not all bad news as 17 of us picked 8, Bad luck to Rob who managed to pick the exact margin for Friday night, never mind mate, Happy 50th anyway!! There were 7 of us managed a creditable 7 while a further 11 of us managed 6. There were a couple of 5’s and well, there was a four, Col proving that even on a good weekend he is adept at picking losers sorry mate.
We did of course have a special prize on offer this week, $100 for the punter who accurately picked the winner of the Anzac Day clash and got nearest the margin. Unfortunately, not all of you got back to me with the margin making to ineligible for the prize but 26 of us chose the Pies, while only 2 chose the Bombers. There were margins dancing all around the magical 11 but only one of us actually picked the margin accurately and that was none other than yours truly…Woooohoooooo!! Yes yes, hold the applause, well done me, I can collect $100 from Shareen In the interest of fair play, I did email the list through to Shareen, just in case anyone thought to question my integrity, which would never be the case I know. Righty ho, Kevins solid 8 sees him maintain top spot of 40 however Brett C and Greg are both hot on his heels on 39. Chris’s 8 sees him maintain is position with 38 but Gavin and Harry slipped just a bit this week holding 5 and 6th respectively also on 38. Roger, Rick and Aaron L hold the next 3 spots with 37, Rowley, John, Brett A and Kelvin all on 36 holding the next 4 spots. Eric and Hayden round out our top 15 on 35 along with Col E and Davey.

After Round 5 of the MCC AFL Tipping 2022
Led by none other than Daveeyyyyyyy! 13 punters managed to snag 7 correct winners not a bad effort at all lads, whilst the vast majority of us landed 6. There were however a couple of us who’s misguided faith in West Coast, yours truly included, managed 5 and this was our lowest score for the round.
So, there are 2 of us who now sit atop the leader board clear on 32 and no surprise, Mr consistency, Kevin, is out there again with Harry hot on his heels, nice going chaps. One further back on 31 sit Aaron L, Brett C, Greg and Gavin, with Rowley, Chris Mumme and Col Evans right there on 30. Roger rounds out our top 10 on 29 and shares this score with Rick and Hayden, while John B, Brett A and Kelvin complete the leading 15 punters to date. Things do thin out a bit thereafter, but with only 9 tips separating top from bottom, the comp is still pretty tight.

After Round 4 of the MCC AFL Tipping 2022
To our comp and needless to say, no one managed that elusive 9, so we jackpot again peeps, this week looking an Easter bonus, $100 up for grabs. It wasn’t all doom and gloom however as Col Evans showed picking the correct team is possible with a wonderful 7, well done mate!! It appears that 6 tips was quite popular with 11 punters snaring that amount, well done folks, while with 5 correct tips, 12 punters were able to latch onto that score. 10 of us managed a lowly 4 correct tips with a further 2 snaring 3. There was of course just one of us who managed 2 correct tips.

Well folks, 9 is definitely proving to be elusive so far this season, however 8 correct tips was an excellent result, Rick, Toby and Dave Stiles all achieving that result, well done indeed chaps! Mr Tiplesses advice obviously helped Tobes . Our leader board is now taking shape quite nicely with 6 of us holding sway on 19 tips including, Aaron on top courtesy of margin, followed by Brett C, Gavin, Kevin, Greg and Harry. On 18 sit Rowley, Chris M and Brett M, while one further back on 17 are Roger, John B, Sam, Rick and Kel. A little further adrift with 16 are Eric, Hayden, Col, Des, Grant, Dave S and Brett M, with a further 7 of us on 15 correct tips. Another 6 of us are right there on 14, but may need to get a wriggle on already, while on 13 tips see 3 punters hanging in there and Col rounding out the list with 11 (c’mon mate!!)

After 2 weeks our tipping comp is shaping up nicely with Rowley Daw now our outright leader on 13 tips, nice work mate!!. 10 us now sit on 12 correct tips, whilst another 6 of us have picked 11 successfully so far. There are 9 punters who have managed 10 tips whilst another 8 of us are sitting right there with 9. We do have a couple on 8 at the moment while slow out of the blocks Colin is on 7 closely followed by Toby on 6, c’mon lads early doors I know but don’t let the gap get too big. And with that, after much deliberation Mr Tipless is compelled this week to offer same sage advice to Rick who skillfully managed to snag 3 correct winners well done old boy I say, this ones for you.

Now, to round 1 and yep you guessed it, round 1 has jackpotted with no one picking all 9 so the prize go ups to $40 next week. 7 tips however was an extremely good effort with 8 of us managing that feat. There were 9 punters who correctly named 6 winners while a further 12 correctly tipped 5. 6 of us managed 4 while there was a couple of 2’s to kick the season off.
